Reliable voltage transformation for demanding power systems.
Overview
Volkon Power Transformers are designed for applications requiring efficient voltage transformation and reliable operation across demanding power systems.
Solutions can be engineered according to required capacity, voltage class, cooling arrangement, tap-changing configuration and site conditions. Where a project has specific electrical, mechanical or environmental requirements, the design is developed around those requirements rather than adapted from a fixed catalogue item.
How It Works
A power transformer uses electromagnetic induction between primary and secondary windings to change voltage levels while transferring electrical energy between two circuits.
The winding configuration, core design, insulation system and cooling arrangement together determine how the unit performs under the load profile and ambient conditions of a particular installation.

Why Volkon
Every electrical application has different load, voltage and environmental requirements. Our solutions are developed around the actual application rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.
We focus on dependable construction, suitable components and practical engineering to support long-term operation.
Electrical requirements vary from project to project. Product configurations can be developed around required capacity, voltage, installation environment and application.
From voltage correction to transformation, backup power and distribution, Volkon aims to provide solutions across the complete electrical-power chain.
Installation & Environment
Installation environment, foundation, clearances, cable entry and protection co-ordination are reviewed as part of the engineering process.
